Lari MP Mburu Kahangara has urged his constituents to be careful from being misled by the opposition.
He said since the 2027 general election was approaching, a lot of politicians will be visiting them promising them with different goodies.

He said others will also turnish their names so that they draw their attention and seek for their support, they should be careful since other issues will be propaganda.
Kahangara urged them to support the current government and realign them with it so that they elect leaders who were still in the ruling party.
“Some politicians might leave us in the opposition. This is the time everyone should be vigilant. When you elect leaders who are in the ruling party, I’m telling you lobbying for any development will be easy” he said.
He spoke at Kimende secondary school when he led a bursary issuance exercise.
He was accompanied by Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a, his CDF committee, national government administration officials and parents.
The legislator urged locals to consider supporting him since he has been for development since he was elected.
“You gave me the job I sought from you. I have been lobbying and today we mention so many projects the current government has done to us. We should feel part of it” he said.
He mentioned a few as the tarmacking of the Mau Mau road, completion of the Lari Technical and Training College, security by building more administrator’s offices, piping of the irrigation water dubbed Escarpment Belt among others.
Thika MP said she had served Thika for two times and had decided to vie for Kiambu governor seat.
She said that the Bible has adviced Christians that everyone should write their vision in bold letters and hang where many people can see and read and that is what she has done.
She urged them to support her get the seat. She urged locals to invite her in their occasions and activities.
She urged locals to pray for the country and it’s leaders as well as themselves.
