A politician has dismissed the opposition’s style of politics at the requiem service of Ol Kalou MP David Njuguna Kiaraho, infront of the head of state William Ruto.

The politician described former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Nyandarua senator John Methu as inciting.

Stephen Waweru who is also popularly as “Western”, alleged that Gachagua and his allies have been looking on how chaos can erupt in an event where Ruto is attending, and start looking for evidences that they can use to press his charges at the International Criminal Court in Hague.

Waweru said claimed that the Democracy for Citizens Party leader did not have another agenda, but to incite locals to heckle and even throw stones to the dias where Ruto was, so that the police can start beating people and chaos to result.

“The opposition did not have any other plan apart from causing chaos. They wanted to agitate Ruto and the security team so that chaos may erupt, with an objective of turnishing his name and later start pushing for his charges at the ICC”, he alleged.

However, he applauded Ruto for playing his speech in a cool way so as he does not anger people.

Speaking at Limuru town on Thursday, Waweru also thanked DP Kithure Kindiki, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa and national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula for remaining silent even after heavy allegations leveled against them by the opposition.

“Describing elected leaders like children was not right. Even if someone has or had a mistake, do not dismiss them. They deserve some respect” he said.

Waweru who is also an analyst, thanked Nyandarua residents for remaining cool, adding that they could not cause chaos.

“Nyandarua locals are clever people. I respect them. They put into consideration that they would use the place they were in at a near future, and they they could not be invited and leave their facilities damaged”, he said.

He also urged the locals to keep that peaceful spirit, urging them to investigate the leaders who will seeking for elective seats in 2027 general elections.

“The two, Gachagua and Methu are not focused leaders. People do not elect who are their friends. They might be people who do not have regards for other elected leaders” he said.

Waweru also warned that, Gachagua can do anything to anyone at any given time, adding he should be the first suspect of anything strange that may happen to anyone who supports the Ruto government from Mt Kenya region.

“Mt Kenya number one enemy is the one who separates the region with other regions of this country. He has been warning Ruto supporters, and it should be known that he hates the current administration with a passion” he said.
