Chaos erupted at an AIPCA Kiamworia Church ordination in Gatundu South, where tear gas was deployed, scattering worshipers and children. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, present at the event, accused President William Ruto, MP GG Kagombe, and Moses Kuria of orchestrating the violence. Gachagua warned against political intimidation and criticized police actions, also cautioning Matatu SACCOs against ferrying disruptive elements.

The Controller of Budget is urged to investigate governors for alleged misuse of funds and disrespect for President William Ruto. Politician Stephen Waweru claims county bosses fund political cheer groups during presidential visits, neglecting essential services and development. He also alleged compromised MCAs, hindering oversight, and called for strict scrutiny of county spending.
