Kiambu County Assembly has launched a public participation drive, inviting resident input on seven key legislative proposals. These Bills address education, agriculture, investment, and social welfare. Citizens can submit written feedback via email or attend oral presentations at the Assembly. This initiative underscores the Assembly’s commitment to participatory governance, empowering residents to shape crucial county laws.
Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has launched the distribution of free learning materials and furniture to all public Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) centers. This initiative will benefit over 42,000 learners in 524 centers, fully funded by the county. It forms part of a larger strategy including enhanced feeding programs, new infrastructure, and teacher development, solidifying Kiambu’s commitment to accessible nursery education.
