Gatundu South

Chaos erupted at an AIPCA Kiamworia Church ordination in Gatundu South, where tear gas was deployed, scattering worshipers and children. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, present at the event, accused President William Ruto, MP GG Kagombe, and Moses Kuria of orchestrating the violence. Gachagua warned against political intimidation and criticized police actions, also cautioning Matatu SACCOs against ferrying disruptive elements.

Former KTDA Holdings Chairman David Muni Ichoho shared a goodwill message with Gatundu South residents, announcing his interest in the 2027 parliamentary seat. He emphasized unity, progress, and prosperity, pledging to enhance roads, healthcare, education, and economic growth. Ichoho promised to create jobs, support businesses, nurture youth, and value elders for a brighter Gatundu South.
