Limuru law Court Users Committee (CUC) vice chairman Paul Ngugi speaks at an open day event at Limuru town.

Applauding Magori and Mugure, the vice chairman noted that the two are hardworking and had reduced the block log of cases at the station.

He added that the litigants describe them as accurate and punctual for arriving at their work places early in the morning and leaves the place late in the evening.

“Both of the are hardworking, we notice that because they arrive early enough. People with cases including lawyers says that they are punctual. The cannot fail someone” he described them.

He also says Magori as the head of the station and deputised by Mugure, have been strengthening their team work to reach out to members of the public so as to sensitize them on the role of the judiciary.

“Many people used to think that courts are meant to jail offenders only. Which is not. Also, a lot of people used to think that all cases are meant to be take to court. There are alternative ways of handling cases, which we have been taught” he said.

“We have been holding judicial open day’s where members of the public attend and ask questions. They are answered, advised on a way forward until they are contented” he said.

“We have visited prisons, visited primary and secondary schools where the judicial officers sensitize learners about law and offenses” the church leader who is also a CUC member said.

The JSC promoted the 117 after a vigorous interviews, so as to enhance career progression and strengthen the judicial system.

In a letter signed by the JSC secretary Winfridah B Mokaya, the commission held it’s meeting between September 11 and 15, 2025 when it approved the promotions.
