Former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni who has been the Jubilee Party Secretary General has finally been replaced and his position taken over by former Kajiado North MP Richard Moitalel ole Kenta,
Through a statement released on Thursday afternoon , the Jubilee Party National Executive under the leadership of Former President Uhuru Kenyatta announced his appointment.
Kenta , an advocate of high court by profession with a Bachelors of Law from the University of Nairobi was first elected in 2013 on a TNA Ticket and served for two consecutive terms before running for the Narok Gubernatorial seat.
He has served the Nation key public positions including the Chairman of Kenya Wines Agencies Limited(KWAL) and as a Director of the Geothermal company
” He is widely respected for his principled leadership , his firm stance against corruption and his consistent advocacy for the protection of the Mau Forest ecosystem” the statement from the Party said
” Further Hon Kenta brings to the Party a wealth of experience in elective politics , legal expertise ,strategic Management and institutional Governance at a critical moment when the party’s strengthening its structures and positioning itself to win seats across the country , and deliver Dr Fred Matiangi’s Presidency in the Forth coming General elections” the statement added.
The party urged its members to fully accord Hon Kenta all the support he requires.
