K-Unity Sacco has launched a new financial product, “Youth Biz,” aimed at making credit significantly more accessible to young people.

This move was driven by the recognition that many youths face barriers to borrowing, primarily the inability to provide the necessary collateral. The new loan directly tackles this issue by allowing young members to borrow up to a maximum of Kshs 500,000 without needing any security.

At an educational forum in Kagwe, Business Development Manager Mr. Joseph Nderitu announced the loan and encouraged parents and guardians to motivate young individuals to join the Sacco to empower them financially.

The Youth Biz loan is available for application at all K-Unity branches across the country.
Members present at the forum expressed appreciation for the Sacco’s initiative, noting that the educational sessions helped them understand the Sacco’s operations. They also emphasized that by actively saving and investing in shares, they were able to access loans quickly.
