Coffee and milk farmers across Kiambu county are protesting the fluctuating prices of the products after end results when they are finally paid. The Kenya African National Union (KANU) Secretary General George Wainaina was last evening arrested over the cold blood murder of lawyer Mathew Kyalo Mbobu. The role Wainaina played in the murder is not yet clear. Sources said he was among six people who were detained as suspects in the murder. A spate of fire incidences across various high schools in Gatundu South, Kiambu county, continues to cause uneasy unrest amongst parents only two weeks after the schools were reopened for the Final term this year. A family is pleading for help after their three-month-old son, Samuel Mbithi, was detained at a Nairobi hospital due to an outstanding bill of Ksh 800,000.
