Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) has formalized a new partnership with Kenyatta University (KU). The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to expand teaching capabilities and collaborative efforts. This agreement aims to foster deeper cooperation within the hospital setting.

Officials from both organizations gathered at the KUTRRH auditorium to witness the signing ceremony. The event marked a significant step for institutional collaboration, bringing together staff and administration from both entities. High-ranking officials led the delegation from the referral hospital during the proceedings.

The KUTRRH team included Mr. James Wambu, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, alongside Dr. Zeinab Gura, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. Representation from the university featured its top academic leadership. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Paul Wainaina and Prof. Waceke Wanjohi, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academics, spearheaded the university’s contingent.

A Memorandum of Understanding typically serves as a formal agreement outlining the terms of a cooperative arrangement between parties. KUTRRH operates as a specialized national referral facility in Kenya, providing advanced medical care and research.
